Ksenia, internationally recognised for her Charleston and Swing dancing, is also an accomplished singer.

Starting in 2013, Ksenia created Swing’n’Joy quintet, playing the finest tunes from the 30-40‘s for swing dancers in St Petersburg. Soon Ksenia had a residency in one of the busiest jazz bars in the heart of the city – DOM.7, performing every Saturday night leading the Swing & Dance show.

While touring for dance events Ksenia had an opportunity to perform with the best jazz bands in Russian, France, Germany, Spain and Ireland such as Konstantin Khazanovich Quintet (Rus), David Duffy Quintet (Ire), Funk/Jazz Trio (Swe), Rolly and the Spirits of Rhythm (Fra), Steven Mitchell & Quintet (USA/ Rus) and others.

Since her move to Berlin in May 2014 she has already made a significant impact on the scene hosting the “Naked Jazz Dance” event in the city’s notorious jazz bar – Badehaus Szimpsa. She also performs at jams in the famous B- Flat, Waldo Bar with such jazz musicians as Eric Vaughn (US, Savanna Hall of Fame), Joel Holmes (US) and Andreas Lang (DK).

In September 2014 Ksenia performed with the legendary Georgy Garanian Orchestra in the grand “Festivalnii” concert hall in Sochi, host of Olympics ’14, singing a duet with vocalist Michael Mwenso (US, Harlem), a member of Jazz at Lincoln Center.

“Dancing is singing with your body. When you dance, you sing, scat, mumble to articulate what you are saying with your body. When you are singing you dance to feel the groove, let it in and out”
